Motion Design & Post-Production
2025 · 10 Reels · Social Content
Overview
A series of talking-head social media reels combining graphic design, editorial pacing, and motion to create engaging short-form content built for clarity and retention.
Working alongside graphic designer Nada Essam, I translated the static visual direction into motion — building the pacing, animation, transitions, and final edit across the series.
The objective was to keep the speaker at the center of each video while using motion graphics to reinforce key ideas, maintain visual energy, and make longer spoken concepts easier to follow in a short-form format.

Motion approach
The motion design was intentionally supportive rather than decorative.
Animations were timed around speech, important phrases, and changes in thought, allowing graphics to guide attention without competing with the speaker.
Rather than treating each reel as a standalone edit, the series was approached as one visual system with a shared motion language.
The result is a format that feels dynamic while still keeping the content direct, human, and easy to consume.
Collaboration
The series was developed through collaboration between graphic design and post-production.
Nada Essam created the graphic design direction, while Asaad translated that visual language into motion through animation, editing, pacing, and finalization.
This allowed the visual identity to remain consistent while adapting naturally to the timing and message of each reel.
