The Experiment
FREEDOM began as a one-man performance experiment: producing and performing every musical part, then bringing the separate versions of myself together inside one visual composition.
Drums, guitar and MIDI keyboard were recorded as individual performances. Through editing and compositing, they became a single synchronized session — turning the screen into a stage for an entire band performed by one person.
For this project, music production, performance and visual storytelling were developed as one connected creative process.
Final Performance
Building the Performance
Each instrument was approached as its own performance, with a distinct physical energy and role inside the arrangement.
The drums established the movement. The guitar added character and texture. The MIDI keyboard completed the harmonic space. Each part was recorded separately, but designed from the beginning to exist inside the same final performance.

Rhythm and physical energy formed the foundation of the performance.

The guitar introduced texture, movement and melodic character.
03 — MIDI KEYBOARD
The keyboard expanded the arrangement and connected the musical layers.
Visual Concept
The central visual idea was to place every musical role inside the same frame. Instead of presenting the recordings as separate clips, compositing allowed the different performers to interact as one complete band.
The illusion is playful, but the synchronization is precise. Every cut, gesture and visual layer follows the rhythm of the music.
Post-Production
The edit was not added after the performance — it was part of the performance itself.
Timing, split-screen composition, masking and synchronization transformed separately recorded sessions into one continuous visual act. The final montage became another instrument, controlling how the audience experiences the rhythm and the relationship between every part.
I didn’t need to find a band.
I became every part of it.
